I'm Cassandra, an artist & embroiderer living in the deep heart of England with my two boys, husband and mischievous cat.

After obtaining a Fine Art Degree, I managed an art and framing shop in London for many years however felt unfulfilled creatively. Inspired by the antique textiles I have always loved, I decided to teach myself to hand embroider and use thread to add texture, depth and glorious colour to my illustrations. I'm passionate about the gentle art of hand stitching & believe this age-old art practice has even more value in today's world, both as a beautiful art medium and as a calming exercise.

Deeply influenced by literature, fairy tales and the magic of nature, I create work with a nostalgic dreamlike feel which is elegant and enchanting. I currently sell luxury illustrated stationery and art prints but am thrilled to be working with Bothy Threads to create an exclusive range of Embroidery Kits.
